Surely this is our God; we trusted in Him, and He saved us
The intent of this blog is for the church to return to God's word. If you are reading this , then you probably are looking for more than what you are presently seeing in the church today. It is important to read your bible so that you know what God is saying, so that when you read what man is saying you will know the difference and always test the spirits.
1 John 4:1 "Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world." As you read these blogs, test the spirits by holding them up to God's word. Continue to pray that God, in His mercy will turn His face back to the church and empower us once again.
Surely this is our God; we trusted in Him, and He saved us
Guard my life, for I am faithful to You; save your servant who trusts in You
For those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger
Which of you will listen to this or pay close attention in time to come?
For your sake, Lord, look with favor on your desolate sanctuary.
These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me
I hate, I despise your religious festivals; your assemblies are a stench to me
I will wait for the Lord, who is hiding His face from the descendants of Jacob. I will put my trust in Him
Consider then and realize how evil and bitter it is for you when you forsake the Lord your God and have no awe of Me
This is a blog that comes from my personal devotions each day. The Blog has replaced the Sermon section. There will also be the occassional food for thought.
