The last couple of days I have been talking about me. Yes God has done a wonderful thing for me- He has answered my prayer and brought healing to my body. Now the question remains; what about you? You may be reading this and are in the same battle and you feel nothing is happening. You may even feel that it has gotten worse and your prayers are not being answered. You may be battling an addiction to something. You may be struggling with reading the bible and praying. Going to church may not be high on your to do list. Family members you are praying for seem oblivious to your prayers. Health’s issues are still there, relationship issues still there, so what do you do. The answer is found in Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!” The one thing you should not do is question God. Exodus 17 said, The whole Israelite community set out from the Desert of Sin, traveling from place to place as the Lord commanded. They camped at Rephidim, but there was no water for the people to drink. 2 So they quarrelled with Moses and said, “Give us water to drink.” Moses replied, “Why do you quarrel with me? Why do you put the Lord to the test?” 3 But the people were thirsty for water there, and they grumbled against Moses. They said, “Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to make us and our children and livestock die of thirst?” “And he called the place Massah and Meribah because the Israelites quarrelled and because they tested the Lord saying, “Is the Lord among us or not?” We do not need to ask this question as Matthew 1:23 “The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” — which means, “God with us.” When you seek the Lord with all you heart soul and mind, you will find him. 1 Chronicles 5:20 “They were helped in fighting them, and God handed the Hagrites and all their allies over to them, because they cried out to him during the battle. He answered their prayers, because they trusted in him.”
